Empowerment and Livelihood Improvement and Additional Financing for Municipal Services Project |

The Government of Bangladesh has signed two Financing Agreements with the World Bank on 23 August 2010 for an amount of US$ 157.00 million at the Economic Relations Division, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. The fund would be utilized for two projects namely "Empowerment and Livelihood Improvement Project" and "Additional Financing for Municipal Services Projects". WB Signed an agreement of 170 million US$ For Ctg.WSIS Project |

The Government of Bangladesh has signed a Financial Agreement with the World Bank on 26 July 2010 at the Economic Relations Division for the implementation of "Chittagong Water Suppply Improvement and Sanitation Project (CWSISP)" involving an amount of US$ 170 million. KFAED signed agreement of 15 million KD for Sikolbaha Power project |

A draft loan agreement was signed on 15 July 2010 between Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and Bangladesh Government to finance the Sikolbaha Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plat project. Under this agreement KAFED will provide 15 (fifteen) million Kuwaiti Dinner. A press release is attached herewith in this regards.

MOU signed Between IDB, Malaysia and Bangladesh |
|
A tripartite MOU was signed between Government of Malaysia, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and Government of Bangladesh in IDB headquarter on 5 June 2010. The Government of Malaysia will finance USD 1.03 million as grant to implement the "Bangladesh Marine Fisheries Capacity Building" Project. Press release is attached herewith.
